No needle drop trees are the most popular Christmas trees purchased in the UK. Until recently Nordmann and Fraser Firs were mainly imported from Denmark and Belgium but we also provide first rate trees grown by UK growers. Although these are classed as No Needle drop trees there will be some small needle loss as the trees are moved and put into stands and if the branches are moved. Eventually the needles will become brittle but will mainly remain on the branch. If the trees are supported in one of our tree stands kept full of water the tree and the needles will remain fresh for longer right up to Christmas!!
The traditional Christmas tree is the Norway Spruce which sheds needles quite quickly in our warm living rooms and offices. However using a tree stand which holds water will help the tree to retain its needles for longer. For most homes and offices which are warm and dry Spruce will probably only last in good condition for a couple of weeks. We recommend that you delay taking delivery of Spruce for as long as possible. We start deliveries of Spruce from 7th December.
If you already have a tree stand, please tell us what the diameter of the trunk holder is
when you order your tree and we will trim the trunk of the tree to fit your stand.
